678.0. "nsrjb questions" by NQOS01::rdodial_port10.32.81.16.in-addr.arpa::Curle () Tue May 13 1997 18:55

NetWorker V4.3  Alpha
NT V3.51 SP 5

Does nsrjb commands return DOS error levels? For example,I issue
"nsrjb -w -S17 -P2" and the tape is mounted I get a nsrjb error and I was
wondering if we could check error levels in batch file?

Second question, do I have to assign a user to be "Domain Admins" for them to
have privledges to run the nsrjb command? I had added the user as an
administrator under the NetWorker server setup and the user can mount and
unmount tapes but can not run the nsrjb command.

Thanks,
Allen

If you are asking if we set some error outside NetWorker for you to check,
I don't think so. I glanced through the code and don't see anything which
might indicate that. I can see how it would be nice if you got a retryable
error, so that one could redo the command in the batch file.

They need to be an Administrator on the local system at the least. They should
be able to do things from the winadmin gui (see -x) for the jukebox, but I'd have
to recheck that.
