NetWorker V4.3 Alpha NT v3.51 SP 5 Are there plans on adding commands to the NetWorker Administrator's program to withdraw and deposit tape(s) from an Autochanger? If not, are there callable API's that we can use to write a program that will do this? We will swap tapes every day, except Sunday, and we are looking for a error proof or a idiot proof way of doing this. The customer does not want the Computer Operator's issuing commands to withdraw and deposit tapes but would like a GUI interface. Thanks, Allen

There are no API's to do this, but if you really wanted to write a GUI to do the withdrawl and deposits of tapes you could write something that simply execs the appropriate 'nsrjb' command to do it for you. I don't know about future plans for this. Perhaps someone else could comment on that. -- Rich Randall | |||||
