532.0. "Open File Manager" by SWETSC::WESTERBACK (Panta rei) Wed Mar 26 1997 07:57

Just heard of the Open File Manager Add-on to Legato's Networker,
see http://www.legato.com/prod/ofm.html. Will this also be available
on Alpha? Anyone know if it handles Exchange .PST folders? The article
    doesn't mention Exchange...

St. Bernard's web page now says that they have
a version for NT Alpha, but nothing else says
anything about that. I suggest you call the
company and find out what they have. The software
is supposed to work with all kinds of backup.
They certainly work with NetWorker on intel
(according to their web pages). When we have
more information, it will be posted.
532.2How Did OFM work For You?tunsrv2-tunnel.imc.das.dec.com::corbishleyDesktopWed May 21 1997 10:5411
Yes, it handles a users .PST files just fine. This tool is not meant
for databases.

While we have tested OFM at one location within Digital, I need to
know if anyone else has and how it worked out for you. I am planning
a purchase for use on our internal file servers and need some more
testimonials.

Thanks!
