I believe that when you install NetWorker on NT, you can specify
where the \nsr directory should go. In other words, the index
directory goes into ...\nsr, where ... is some arbitrary path.
>Also, is it possible to backup to remote tape devices?
No. NetWorker backs up to local tapes only.

Installing NetWorker will not prevent the customer from using NT
Backup.

If the customer is sharing a device between the two software
products, it is possible for a tape to be inadvertantly
overwritten if they put in the NT Backup tape and label the tape
using NetWorker.
This is not usually a problem if they are switching tapes
manually, but can be a big problem if you have a
jukebox/autochanger. NetWorker assumes it has total control of
a jukebox and its contents. If you have a jukebox, any tape that
does not have a NetWorker label can be considered fair game for
relabeling.
