| The current version (4.3) of the NT client performs
incremental backups without fault. If the customer
believes they are having problems with incremental
backups, please have them document, in detail, how they can
reproduce the problem.
You cannot use a UNIX server to recover an NT backup.
This is not a bug, it is a limitation of the UNIX
file system. The UNIX file system does not understand
NT file system semantics.

| HI,
My customer has done an user-backup from NT Client to Unix Server.
but when he used the nwrecover, he didn't find the INDEX for the backup
of this NT Client.
I think that he must do a saveindex but I don't find this commando...
Can someone have the correct path to that ... or is it a sub-command ??
or give me another way to do it ... because customer want to see the
NTClient Index when using NWRECOVER on a unix server. When Server is doing
him-self the backup, I can see the NTClient Index. If I do myself a
User-backup,
I cannot see it from server but I can see it from Client....
Help will be very appreciate.... I'm NOT doing NSR support for a long
time and It's maybe a very stupid question ... 8^) ...

| I don't have any problem browsing a file which
has been backed up from an NT client to a
Digital Unix server.
It would help if you provided more complete
information about versions of the client
and the server as well as specifying exactly
how to reproduce the problem.

I think the customer is still trying this from the unix end.
.3 says something about nwrecover from the unix system.
They must start a recover and browse from the NT client.
That is what .1 says.
