| This message appears when you use older client software (before
4.2) to try to recover files saved by newer client software (4.2
and later).

Restoring with the version that saved a file is the fully
supported way to recover, if they get an error there then
there is a problem. He will continue to get that error
message when recovering files with the older client (i.e.
the server) which were saved by the newer client until he
upgrades his server to a version of 4.2A or 4.2B (those
are the only other options).

| Thierry,
One thing that you need to consider is that the whole design of
NetWorker is for the recovers to be initiated from the client side.
There are facilities to do server-initiated recovers, but this
has definite limitations.
It sounds as if you are attempting to use server-initiated recovers
as your main method. If it is possible, I'd highly recommend reconsidering that.
