Hello ,
A customer of mine encounters this problem:
He has upgraded the release of Networker from V3.2A to V4.2A and he has
installed the jukebox tier 1 license for his stacker .He uses a TZ877 drive in
stacker mode (before the v4.2A release the stacker mode didn't need any
license)
At this time all works fine with Jukebox-tier-1 temporary ! license pak .
Afterwards he upgrades NSr v4.2a to NSR v4.2B , it tries this release and he
decided to downgrade to v4.2A .
Then a problem occurs , the license JUKEBOX-TIER-1 is already active/unlimited
but NSR doesn't see this (temporary)license at installation time ("
Starting with NetWorker V4.2A, use of a sequential loader/stacker requires
a JUKEBOX-TIER-1 license. If you are currently using a loader with NetWorker
Your loader will be disabled if you proceed.")
So he decides to delete the configuration of the stacker
(nwadmin/media/loader/
delete) and to desinstall / reinstall NSR V4.2A but the same problem occurs
again ...
I don't know why , he tries with another valid temporary pak and problem
again..
Any ideas...
