Hello, A customer of ours has a tape loader TLZ07 and wants to back up overnight and the CPIO command returns error message 'has to load license'. Can you tell me whether a jukebox license is necessary for this unattended backup operation? We believe it isn't. Thanks, Richard [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

4.2A and up of NSR on Digital UNIX require a license for loaders. This information is in the SPD and I think it was put in the documentation noting changes for the 4.2A release. (I assume you know that you are talking about NetWorker and just don't know what commands it is using). |
