I have a customer who is trying to sell 2 x 4100s for a UNIX application into a major UK financial company who are already Digital users. He is proposing NSR for backup etc. In the USA the parent company uses ADSM plus IBM. Because it is a large order it has to go to the USA for sign-off. They are asking why not use ADSM? If it does then it looks like the UK arm will be forced to buy RS6000s. So my questions are: 1. Is ADSM Server and Client supported on Digital UNIX now? 2. Are there any knockoff points on ADSM v NSR which can be used. Thanks very much any help. regards David Gallagher

1. Is ADSM Server and Client supported on Digital UNIX now? >Suggest you go to IBM's ADSM web page to find out support >issues, or call IBM directly. 2. Are there any knockoff points on ADSM v NSR which can be used. >Isn't this the purpose of the competitive info section of >the sales updates? Have you looked there? >/Mark |
