You've checked that the Remote Exec Service is running ok?
Are they using the portmapper on the client? If not, does
it make a difference if they use the portmapper? (Stop
the remote exec service before starting the portmapper up
and restart remote exec service after starting the
portmapper).

| Both services are running on the Server. He's not getting any errors
in daemon.log about these services.

Sorry, I apparently need to be more clear. Since backups work
from other clients to the server, the problem probably is with
the client.
On the failing/problem client:
Did you check that the remote exec service is running ok?
Are they using the portmapper? If not, does it make a
difference if they start up the portmapper (as described
in .1)?

| I checked with the customer and he has only the Remote Exec service running.
He will stop it and then start the Portmapper service and the Remote Exec
service again.

| One other to check is to make sure the name of the server is in
the \nsr\res\servers file on the client. If it's not there,
nsrexecd may not accept the connection.

| We already checked the Servers file. Over the weekend, the customer deinstalled
Networker on the Intel client along with deleting any Networker files/references
to Networker in the Registry. After reinstalling, Scheduled backups work
fine.
Thanks for your help.
