FYI: We have an 8400 cluster in VIS configured with two Exabyte libraries (EXB-440 & EXB-480). We found them going through a multiminute POST when attached to a KFTIA's FWD ports using DWZZA's every time the 8400 was rebooted. This was unacceptable. We reconfigured when we found that this did not occur when used with KZPSA's on the PCI bus. I'd recommend an "asterisk" in the SPD on this... FJP

NetWorker's SPD is really not an appropriate place for this type of information. Perhaps Exabyte should mention it in their documentation. |
