Can anyone shed any light on the following customer problem? [Begin Copy] Is there an inherent problem with using the BRXCKIT from the SingleServer 4.0B CDs as a client to a NSR server running on v4.0 rev 386 (BRX rev 320)? Ever since I switched to DU 4.0 on frankenstein (our 3000/400) after it was running v3.2C for a while, network backups failed with a mysterious "network error may have occurred." It used to have the BRXCKIT320 on there but that errored out too. I'm now in the process of upgrading to 4.0B on frankenstein (even though / still has space problems..... ARRRRRRRRRRGH!), in hopes that this may fix it, but .... any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. [End Copy] Mike Lewis DTN 339-5443

Yes. For Digital UNIX V4.0, you should have at least NetWorker V3.2A (BRX321). However, I don't know why it would cause "network errors". Wes |
