    Hi, 
    We have a plan to submit RFP(Request For Proposal) to Korea Telecom.
    We will include "DLT-7000" made by Quantom, but We have no information
    DLT-7000 connectivity to DEC flatform.
    That is to say, Is DLT-7000  running in our Alpha Server ? 
    Is DLT-7000 ported our Alpha Server or not ?
    
    pls let me know any idea.

	While it IS expected that a Quantum DLT-7000 would work it is NOT supported on DIGITAL UNIX by DIGITAL. The DIGITAL version will be fully qualified and supported. If they use the Quantum model they may require support from the hardware vendor if there are device or compatability problems.

	I second Roger's view. My group spend a lot of times and resources to qualify TZ89 to make sure that it will work on DIGITAL OS, system and SW application. We found a lot of code bugs that were corrected before we ship the product. T.
