Does anybody have a idea what might be happening on this client: The client is a NT v4.0 box with NetWorker client 4.2.1 on it, backups have been taken daily of this system and then last weekend something went wrong and the clients daemon.log file got filled up with: nsrexecd: select error: no such process the logging continued until the disk was full. get them to upgrade to 4.3 and apply any patches from Legato that are relevant (4.2.1 is an intel release number, so I assume you are using intel). | |||||

The reported error is an rpc problem. Check that one of the NetWorker processes on the server didn't core, the server didn't crash, that the network continuity is not being interrupted. Also check for any other messages in the logging files on the client and server occuring about the time the select error started. |
