What I'm expecting to see is completion messages in /nsr/logs/messages
as each client completes. Instead, I'm only seeing the completion
messages for SOME of our 129 clients when the savegroup completes.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

| Since I assume that you get the full completion message in both
mail and in the /nsr/logs/daemon.log file, there isn't much more
I can do for you. Maybe you could let me know why the daemon.log
and mail don't work for you, while the messages file would.

| Rich
The completion messages written to the /nsr/logs/messages file contain
more information than those written to /nsr/logs/daemon.log; messages
includes a line for each saveset showing size, time, number of files,
system, saveset, backup type, and more. What I don't understand is
that /usr/logs/messages is written to; but information for just some,
not all of the clients, is written. Isn't this a bug?
Thanks!

| Just to keep the flame alive, this problem was one that I discussed
with Bruce Evans during the NetWorker Save and Restore V4.3 for Digital
UNIX field test; the problem still exists in V4.3.

| I've verified that this problem still exists in the SSB release of
NetWorker Server for Digital UNIX V4.3 (4.3-05/13).
What are the plans for addressing this?
Thanks!
