321.0. "[Network] dnet_addr(N058V2) failed, error=997" by 34686::WSA028::DOWNING_L () Wed May 28 1997 21:43
(cross posted to the eXcursion notesfile)
Hello,
I have a customer who cannot get the eXcursion server to start.
He is getting the following message, which I cannot find in the
documentation:
[Network] dnet_addr(N058V2) failed, error=997
This is a new installation of PATHWORKS 32. DECnet is the only transport.
The system is a Windows NT Workstation, version 4.0.
FAL and NFT work fine.
He's got the DECnet node's and addresses defined, up'd the MAX LINKS, is using
valid logon info (to his OpenVMS Alpha). He's renamed LOGIN.COM of the VMS
user account that he's using.
What else is there to look for?
Does anyone know what that '997' means?
-Linda
