Hello all, Just a heads up on how PW32 works with NT clusters... I had the oppertunity to try NT clusters V1.1 and SP1 beta with PW32 on a pair of Alpha Server 4100's with a SWXCR05 raid unit (NT 4.0 + SP2 + Hot Fixes) The results where interesting enough to tell you all. I had the cluster working happily for day or so then added PW32, all seemed to be working happily ( not much testing time ). Then I needed to modify the bindings. After this I kept getting Spawn32 startup errors, even returning the bindings back to the original settings did not seem to help. Unfortunatly I did not have enough time to repeat the setup or do much in the way of serious fault finding. Has anyone else tried this... with any luck or failures?? Greg Harkness Sydney CSC I had a quick chat to the cluster developers and I do not think that they have done any testing with PW32 and clusters.

I suspect some of the issues with spawner may have been delt with in v7.0a, but... unless we can verify it... Sounds good though. Jeff |
