Hi Team, I have reproduced this customer problem. The only condition under which a license was obtained with DHCP was when using PW95 1.0A eco2 and DECnet enabled. In Control Panel-Network-Licensing Agent-Properties I specified the license DEC-PWLMDOSCC06.00 and also the license server name. The following is a summary of success and failure conditions. PWLICLM.DAT was deleted for each test. TCPIP DECnet License Status ---------------------------------------- PW32: DHCP Enabled Fail DHCP Disabled Fail Static Enabled OK Static Disabled OK PW95: DHCP Enabled OK (1.0a eco2) DHCP Disabled Fail Any ideas? Thanks, Shayne Andreasend Sydney Customer Support Centre [Posted by WWW Notes gateway]

Run the debug version of the License Requester and look for errors. I can only guess that connections are failing for some reason. |
