Hi, How do we request a license over a PPP connection via Windows 95 PW32? We used to have PWLICLM.exe, but now we don't. WNT we can stop/restart the License Agent Service, however, this is not an option with Windows 95. What am I missing? Thanks! cindy

Cindy, see notes 52 (in which John W says that a seperate executable isn't needed??) and 182 (in which we talk about the release-noted executable).

> How do we request a license over a PPP connection via Windows 95 PW32? In those cases where it does not work automatically, you run PNLR32.EXE. Use the Run option from the Start menu or go to %SystemRoot%\System and double-click on PNLR32.EXE. > We used to have PWLICLM.exe, but now we don't. You have PNLR32.EXE which does the same thing.

Hi, Just wanted to update this note with the resolution. The customer was using PATHWORKS32 PPP to make the connection to his ppp server. Customer changed over to Windows 95 PPP and was able to obtain the license successfully. cindy |
