Hello all, Could anyone of the developers out there be able to tell me if the PW32 API set can work with Visual C++ V2.0. Or is it V4.0+ what is the minimum version required. The customer is trying to port an Application that was using PW 4.1b to NT 4.0 and PW32. Thanks in advance, Greg Harkness Sydney CSC

I would recommend using Visual C++ 4.x, however Visual C++ 2.x should work. Diane
203.2 | if you use 4.2, rename the ws2 stuff from ms | EDSCLU::NICHOLS | Thu Apr 03 1997 12:28 | 6
If you use < vc4.2 there is no winsock2.h or ws2_32.lib, which oddly enough is good since using the one in v4.2 causes trouble. Ive no idea what the story will be with 5.0 --roger |
