G'day All, I have an interesting one, I have a Hinote VP 575 , running Win95 , got networking all working, then installed PW32 , with 3com 589 pcmcia card , install went ok however on reboot of win95 displays WINDOWS95 screen with scrolling bar at bottom after about 15 sec the hinote powers off, I can only start it in safe mode, we have also had a number of customers reporting the same problem has anyone seen this, I have tried disable power save settings, this made no difference. Thanks, Matt Cook

202.2 | try svga | KERNEL::BURNST | Fri Apr 04 1997 11:14 | 17
Just for daftness try changing the screen type to svga as have had mail stating "customer has a new Hinote VP560 and cant get it to boot work with Pathworks for Windows 95 V1.0a. it will fail then try and boot to safe mode, (no network). When booting you get the banner then it reboots to safe mode. There is not even a boot.log" Solution: Problem was due to the factory installed display driver, NeoMagic, changed to standard SVGA, now client boots with win95/pw95 and on network. Trev
