| becky,
Baffled as what you mean by
"He wishes to request the pwlmdoscc05.00 rather than the server based
license."
The license yo say your cust has are pwlmxxxfp05.00 and pwlmdoscc05.00
These licnese are pwlmxxxfp05.00 "Designated access license" which
allows the cust to attach to the server and store file /print.
This is for any lm client hence the xxx in the name.
The pwlmdoscc05.00 license now nolonger exists (it allowed use of pw
s/w on the client (aka CNS lice) and file and print access (aka FPA
lice)) The pwlmdoscc05.00pwlmdoscc05.00 hes been replaced be 2 licenses
ie pwxxwinat07.00 reqd to run pw 32 sw on a client and the
pwlmxxxfp05.00 license whcih allows you to use the pw file server.
If you use native LM attaches to the server then pwlmxxxfp05.00 is all
that is needed and if only using pw32 with out accessing a server then
pwxxwinat07.00 is all that is needed. If doing both then both are
needed. The ccs license can be substituted for the fpa licenese as it
pertains the right of access to the server.
The mention of a server based licnese is a PWPLVMSCU05.00 license and
not mentions in your note.
I hope this makes it as clear as mud.

Maybe a bit clearer...
Go to chapter 4 of the PATHWORKS 32 User's Guide and follow the directions
for using the licensing agent to select the licenses you want to use.
That seems pretty easy...especially since Chapter 4 is 6 whole pages long...

| Also note that, while either an FP05.00 license or a previously-purchased
CCS license grants the proper access to the server, they still also
need the WINAT07.00 license to legally use PATHWORKS 32 software.
