Has anyone else seen a problem with writing to line 25 of vt320. The customer said it worked in 1.0a and it works with powerterm but not with the 7.0 version of vt320. Jeff Kinser

We haven't seen this here. I've tested writing to the status line (line 25) and it looks OK. What platform are they running: W95, NT-Intel or NT-Alpha? Are they using the SSB version (7.0.033) or a field test version? bruce,

They are on w95 and using the shipped version. They never had field test. They are going to use powerterm instead for now. They were using a product called "multisession" I believe. Jeff

I just tested with a command procedure that you're welcome to try: jamin::user1:[osman.comfiles]25th_line.com This procedure updates the 25th line to indicate what program you're running, amongst other information. For example, after you start it (with "@" of course) try running emacs. It seems to work fine with both vtstar and powerterm. On vt320 emulator I notice that the emulator leaves reverse-video on in the main terminal body, which looks like the emulator fails to maintain seperate state for status line and main body. /Eric |
