    A customer has remove pw32 but the problem is tcp/ip still has the
    AA- address associated with it even though decnet is remove where is it
    getting the AA- and how can i get rid of it? is it in the registry

Yes, it is in the Registry.  You need to go down the path to find the hardware
instance of your network adapter.  You'll find the NetAddress or NetworkAddress
value under Parameters.  If you delete this and reboot, you should be all set.

If editing the Registry scares you, you can also delete then readd the network
adapter and that will also work.
