| re: .0
Three points:
1) .1 is correct
2) The UNIX server probably needs a patch to successfully provide a
PWXXWINAT07.00 license to a PATHWORKS 32 client (...or any other
client, for that matter)
3) Though the PATHWORKS 32 client will, be default, request this
license from a license server, if it does not receive one the client
will still function properly. As is the case for all current and
previous PATHWORKS clients, the client does not need to successfully
obtain a license key from a license server to function properly.
Stated another way, though *legally* the license is required to use
the software, operationally it is not.
Note that the client can be configure to *not* request this license.

license right.

DEC-PWXXWINAT07.00, the license to use PATHWORKS 32.

license?

In NT just disable license requester (lan manager/netware)
in controlpanel/services - select service - startup - disable

| re: .7
Note that, though one *can* use PATHWORKS 32 V7.0 without licensing software
(you *may not* use it without a valid license, however), if the user has
client-based licenses for his/her servers, they will still need this software
to handle *those* licenses.
So, unless the user has server-based licenses, eliminating the client
licensing code is not an option.
