Hello,

I can�t use PowerTerm with the COM-Ports on Alpha. When I start Powerterm with
the COM1 or COM2 Script it always showes the Connect-Dialog-Box when I type
the
first key. After saying connect in the BOX I get bax to the TE but after
pressing a key the box reappears.

It is the same with COM1 ans COM2.
On Intel it works fine. Is there Something special with the Alpha Version?
With the VT320 I can connect to my Alphas COM-Ports.

My PowerTerm Version is 4.00.32 from the EFT2C-Kit.

    this is a known problem which was recently reported.  The fix will be
    available ASAP after submission to SSB of PW32 V7.0.

The latest PTREADME.TXT mentions this bug. We already have a version with
the fix, but it will have to wait for after the SSB. The bug was in the
Alpha version of the comms library that PowerTerm uses.

Hello,

I just upgraded my Alpha to the SSB-Version of PW32. This Version
still contains Powerterm 4.00.32 with the COM-port bug. How can I get the Fix?

    will be part of the patch/Tima kit that we are working to get out
    as soon as we can, with fixes and deferred functionality that did
    not make it for SSB.

but why don�t you make the fixe available on the net as an unsupportet image
if you have it?
What other functions will the pach kit bring?
