| As you suggest, we took the NFT and NCP commands from the pathworks V6 client.
Here are the problems:
With NCP, they can't define nodes
(version V6.0.005, command NCP> define node 36.69 name VEAT08)
The message is
The node file cannot be opened or created.
With NFT, they can't access nodes
(version V6.0.001, command NFT> dir 69::)
Error in DIRECTORY of 69::
Because Remote Node is Unreachable
And it is reachable: "NCP> tell node 69 show exe" works.
Thank you,
Marie Christine.

| NO ONE said take the NCP from v6.0, just NFT. NCP is on PATHWORKS 32
and should be used.

92.7 | nft.exe in the TIMA kit | JAMIN::RUZICH | PATHWORKS Client Engineering | Tue Apr 22 1997 15:43 | 10 |
| When the TIMA kit is released, it will contain a directory of unsupported
software. It is, of course, truly unsupported, but it should work.
The 16-bit NFT.EXE is present; all 3 copies are the same:
\nosupprt\alpha\nft.exe
\nosupprt\i386\nft.exe
\nosupprt\w95\nft.exe

Not only should it work, but many of us use the components...
NFT is great for batch jobs
