       Hello,

Has anyone seen this before ? A customer reports the following problem,
as we don't have the possibility to test this here, I'm asking it here.

       Kind Regards

          Guy ROELANDTS

AltaVista Firewall 2.0, losing characters in the tcp/ip name when
trying to resolve the tcp/ip address, "www.globetrotter.com" is changed too
"www.globtrotter.com" character "e" is missing. The problem occurs only
with "ftp" and "telnet" NOT true "wed http:" and "nslookup"
