Hi,
I ask for some help in the configuration bellow. Everything is working
fine but nslookup from the external WEB Server(Iktus).

 (DHCP SERVER)
Firewall.....: Adelphos (dns hidden)
Primary DNS..: Kerigma
There is an entry in the zone file of Adelphos (firewall) for iktus and
its CNAME www.
Iktus is configured as a DNS client of Adelphos(firewall) and nslookup is
not working.

# nslookup (from Iktus)
Can't find server name for address x.x.x.x : no information
Default servers are not available. (x.x.x.x => firewall address)
Any suggestions ?
Thanks,
Carlos Meyer

Hi,
>> Can iktus ping adelphos?
Yes. I have adelphos in /etc/hosts of iktus.
>> Does adelphos have its own name/address in its DNS?
Yes, adelphos has its name and address inside its own DNS.
>> What does iktus' /etc/resolv.conf say?
It contains the domain and points to the address of adelphos.
domain company.com.br
server x.x.x.x (address of adelphos/firewall)
