1917.0. "How to let I-Phone packets pass through firewall ?" by MIPSBX::"[email protected]" (Arthur Lin) Mon Apr 14 1997 22:35
I have a DFWS firewall system site with private IP addressed internal network.
Recently the customer asked me to implement the I-Phone gateway to let their
internal network clients be able to communicate with Internet users.
Where can I find the I-Phone gateway program, or a generic gateway program to
implement it. Besides, any guideline for implementing such task? (For example,
the port number(s) on both sides which a I-Phone connection used, etc.)
Thanks in advance.

| I suspect that transparent generic relay in V3 is the way
to do this. I haven't tried it, but it sounds as though it
should work.

1917.2 | Is there any solution for AVFW 2.x or 1.x? | NNTPD::"[email protected]" | Arthur Lin | Sun Apr 20 1997 22:06 | 9 |
| Hello T:
You said that the transparent generic gateway in V3 might be workable for
I-Phone
packets. How about AVFW for UNIX V2.x or AVFW for NT V1.x?
No way for I-Phone traffic?
