    Howdy
    
    I have a customer who is getting HOSTUNKNOWN messages in mail.log that
    contain the hostname/ip address pair, ie...
    
    Mar 17 11:06:32 firefox smtpxd[13081]: Log: HOSTUNKNOWN: host
    stcgate.statcan.ca/142.206.192.1 is unknown
    
    Mar 17 13:21:40 firefox smtpxd[14729]: Log: HOSTUNKNOWN: host
    tweed.emwac.ed.ac.uk/129.215.40.135 is unknown
    
    nslookup shows A and PTR records which coincide w/ the log entry.
    Anyone know what condition causes this anomaly?
