Hi,
Anybody out there using NTP with a local ref clock ? (eg.: 127.127.1.10)
I do not have access to an external clock.
I am trying to get Cisco routers to synchronize to the XNTPD time deamon on
the alta vista firewall. My ntp.conf is as follow :
server 127.127.1.10 version 2
ntpq -p
remote refid st when poll reach delay offset disp
==========================================================================
*127.127.1.10 127.127.1.1 10 30 64 377 5000.0 0.00 0.0
# ntpq
ntpq> peer
remote refid st when poll reach delay offset disp
==========================================================================
*127.127.1.10 127.127.1.1 10 51 64 377 5000.0 0.00 0.0
ntpq> assoc
ind assID status conf reach auth condition last_event cnt
===========================================================
1 12796 9f14 yes yes none sys.peer reachable 1 <-----------Auth
= none (is it why I can't synchronize to it ???Any
workaround ????)
ntpq> pstatus 12796
