<pre> Hi, I'm trying to get mail by a AltaVista Firewall for UNIX 2.0 but it simple IS NOT WORKING, all services are OK but mail nevers get on the Firwall (in or out) if I review the /var/adm/syslogs/mail.log it's empty... What do I need to do in order to get mail in and out..???? Is there a wrong configuration in the Internal or External DNS...??? If so, wich one has to be the entry for get this configuration working....???? Your questions refer to MX as an entry in the DNS or to the domain *.mx??? For the first the MX entry there is the entry in both DNS internel and extenal.... The mx as a domain is the geographical domain for Mexico and "*.gob.mx" refers to the goverment domains...... as "*.com.mx" is for comercial sites... TKS Enrique [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] |
