	Hello,

	It is known that Altavista Firewall can provide authentication function on TELNET and FTP proxy.
	Is somebody try to implement some code in order to use GSS-API (Generic Security Service Application 	
        Program Interface). The idea is to use the actual authentication with a authentication server based 	  
        outside the "firewall" (out of band auth...). This is a customer requirement for security project.

	May be i m wrong but what about new version of Altavista, can we get some informations about new 	  
        authentication mechanism ?
