We have just been told that SecurID will no longer support their ACE server in the Unix environment. All well and good for the future but we all have clients who have Unix environments and who do not want the admin hassle of another machine in the firewall which has another OS. It seems that 1.3 will not be supported after September 97. If you have clients with SecurID,let me know so we can put some pressure on SD. Incidentally, alternatives include using Marcs' soon to be released authentication server which supports many card types and hence migrating away from SD. let me know

Unfortunatly, we have sold SecurID recently. The approriate software (for UNIX) will be installed in february. So, support for the future is very important for us ! Torsten [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] | |||||

Hi, The same for us, SecureID has been sold. Sales people are thinking about installing it on an old HP-UX box which is at the customer site or may be use the old version but in that case support will still be needed. Are there other alternatives to SecureID with the same functionalities ? Thanks. Olivier. [Posted by WWW Notes gateway] |
