Hmmmm. The customer for whom I put in major requirements for authentication through the WWW proxy has just told me that they are rejecting Raptor's solution for another firewall in another part of their business, because it uses the browser's own authentication mechanisms - as a result, it can never then connect to a WWW Server that requires authentication. I know that this isn't quite what you're asking for, but it comes close, and it is a serious counter argument to going only that way. T |
