58.0. "What about a spring tournie?" by DELNI::OTA () Wed Apr 09 1997 10:05

    I know the Mass Mid week haulers have kind of taken over the tourniment
    cycle here at DEC, but I kinda miss the old gathering of folks we used
    to have. Anyone out there interested in reviving the old spring
    tournie open to any deccie or ex deccie? I sure as heck don't want to
    go to whitehall, but anyother pond is ok with me.

    I am trying to think when we used to have the first one, must have been
    early may? What about Manchaug or Webster lake. If anyone from NH is
    interested, then we need to go mid way, so places like Barre Pond in
    Harvard might be better.

    So anyone interested?

    Hi Brian

    If no one is interested, you might want to check the
    Chelmsford Bass Tacklers, they will be having a Inventaional
    contest on the Nashua River next Sunday. I think it is the
    boat ramp on 119 in Groton.

    I wont be there as they predict snow for Sunday!

58.4How about a Tournie in NH ????SUBPAC::MATTSONThu Apr 10 1997 12:477
    Biro your a wimp !!!! Don't ever let us MHH's know you didn't show at
    one of our tournies due to the weather 8^) !!! Brian, I doubt any NH
    guys will come down. You can't beat that clear water and Smallies they
    have up there. Although there is this one place they fish with stained
    water and stumps that Gus just Loves !!!!

    OK, not much interest so far, but how about May 10th or May 24th.
    MABass has a tournament on the 18th. Some of those guys might not be
    able to make it that weekend. I vote for Bare Hill in Harvard.

     May 9th, Friday the MHH have a tourney at Bare Hill. I could
     be talked into the 24th. Although, Bare Hill can be slow
     that time of year!!

    Bare Hill is that in Harvard !!!! Murph you crack me up. The only
    time Bare Hill is slow is when I'm fishing there. Murph you can spot
    them 5 lbs and still win the tournament by 2 lbs. Unless BB beats you
    to all your spots first.

    	You should try using a try using a trolling motor..instead of
    	an oar..
