JoeT,
One of the very best days fishing I've ever had in Mass
was on the Charles. Sully and I launched in Watertown
and fished from there to the Museum of Science and
caught at *least* 25 1-3 lb largemouth each! Very nice.

Not a bad Large mouth fishery..
Seems to be getting better every year.
Its really getting to excellent fishery.
The fish are for the most part smaller than the ponds,
but fight like hell..
Even the Crappie population is exploding..

| I fished a WCB tourney there years ago, but the upper part of the
Charles (rt 128 bridge to the Watertown dam). Did pretty good, biggest
LM that day was over 3 lb. Best thing was, Craig Arcari got skunked !!!

| Well, good fishing or not, it's just not *my* idea of a day out on the water.
Jumbo jets overhead, downtown traffic, air & water pollution...
naw... I'd rather fish STUMPFIELD where I know there are BIG fish!
Just because Gman can't catch them doesn't mean anything.
Hell...even the LEGEND catches fish there!!
