Questions:

Hello, I try to port an application which is doing DECnet
nontransparent task to task communication, from OpenVMS
VAX V5.5-2 to OpenVMS AXP V6.2-1H3.
On the VAX the application has been running flawless for
several years.
The application is written in Ada. It compiled and linked
on the ALPHAstation 500/333 without any problem.
When I run the procedure which declares a DECnet object,
(QIO... FUNC => IO_ACPCONTROL ...) that procedure runs
without reporting any bad status, but the network object
is NOT created. On the VAX I do MC NCP SHOW KNOWN OBJECTS,
when I do this on the ALPHA, then I do not see anything!

There is nowhere near enough information here -- we need to know which
version of DECnet (Phase IV, or -Plus) is in use, what ECOs -- if any
-- have been applied, we need a look at the failing Ada code, we need
to know if there are any security auditing messages associated with
this problem -- and remember to enable and use security auditing for
this sort of testing -- and we could really use a small reproducer.
