Questions:

I can't find the transactions per second (TPS) for the AlphaServer 2100 5/375 anywhere. The Digital Internet pages
only go as high as the 5/300 chip, but I know that the 375 chip is for sale already. Can you help me?

   This is an easy answer -- zero!

   The 5/375 processor module is not supported by OpenVMS in the
   AlphaServer 2000, 2100, and 2100A series platforms.

    I don't do any of the TPS estimates. Those come from Lee Allison,
    PERFOM::ALLISON.

    PS "not supported" - really? I thought a fix was developed months ago?

    Here are the estimated tps for the 2100 5/375 under Digital UNIX.

    AlphaServer 2100 5/375 (1cpu)   =  690
                            2cpu    = 1350
                            3cpu    = 1600
                            4cpu    = 1980

    A complete set of estimated tps is available for AlphaServers (for both
    UNIX and VMS with the exception of the 2100 5/375), VAX/VMS and
    MIPS/ULTRIX. These are available from [email protected] or in
    a Cost-of-Ownership spreadsheet from the Installed Base Initiative
    Marketing group - contact is Dave Gitner (MSBCS::GITNER)
