Questions:
I sure hope you can help me!!!
My company sells software designed to run under OpenVMS
AXP and VAX. How can I create an installation kit on
CD-ROM for either platform??? I have asked this question
to many a Digital employee, with no successful response.
My requirement is rather modest, as we only have to "cut"
about 50 CD-ROM's a year.
Thanks in advance,

As far as the CD itself goes, there is no difference. Both VAX and Alpha
OpenVMS systems will be able to read the same CD. It should be created using
the OpenVMS "Files-11" disk structure.
Your installation procedure will need to determine whether it is installing
on a VAX or Alpha (there are various ways to do this - F$GETSYI("ARCH_TYPE")
is one such), and install the correct files for the platform.
