Currently we use Forms 3.0 on Vt220 emulation (Reflections 4 under Windows). What software do we need to buy for Motif GUI on VAX side & on Windows side?

You need no hardware specifically for an X Server under OpenVMS though you will need an appropriate DECwindows Motif or NAS license and software kit, and a network transport for communications with the PC systems. You will also need an X Windows display package on the PC, a package such as Xcursion, and the software kit, and a network transport and associated controller(s) such as Ethernet. |
