Questions:
Is it possible with the Digital OpenVMS Internet Product
Suite to build server side Java applications (servlets)
which can talk to client Java applets ? If so,
are their any products available which would facilitate
the process of having a Java servlet send messages to
the client Java applet for dynamic display of information
on the client side.
(Background : We have an OpenVMS/VAX application that
utilizes VAX mailboxes (and ASTs) for interprocess
communication (one process is creating messages and the
other is receiving messages and updating a character
terminal screen).
Thanks!

| Java is not yet available on OpenVMS. Beta versions should be available in
the summer. At this point we are only committing to Alpha support; VAX support
may or may not follow.
