Questions:

When issuing a $ SHOW DEVICE disk-name/FULL command the
operating
system returns lots of information including the maximum
number
of files that the disk can accomodate.

From time-to-time we encounter problems with the system
returning messages indicating the all headers are full on the
disk.

The only way I know of fixing this problem is to backup all
data
on the disk and re-initialise the disk with a larger number
of headers.

My question is this; is there a way to quickly identify how
many headers
have been used/remaining on a disk? With such information the
problem outlined above could be avoided.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

ps, I know that it is possible to write some ('C') code to
scan INDEXF.SYS but is there an easier way? Has someone
already
created such a utility?
