Questions:
Ok, I really don't know much about VMS, but was given
the task of finding out this piece of info.
All the note says that was given to me is
"LTA Port to map to an IP address & socket number".
My guess is they want to configure an LTA Port to have
a specific IP address and socket #.
Any ideas?

LT devices -- LAT serial terminal devices -- do not map to IP addresses
and socket numbers, LAT is a completely seperate protocol from IP.
