Questions:

I've got a command procedure that runs as a batch job with
the username SYSTEM. In this batch job, I do the following
$ MOU/FOR MKA100
$ {make a saveset name based on todays date}
$ BACKUP/SINCE=BACKUP SYS$SYSDEVICE:[*...]*.* -
	MKA100:{saveset}/NOREWIND
$ DISMOU/NOUNL MKA100

If, on 17-Apr-1997, I mount the tape and do a directory
of it before the backup I'll see, for example

15-APR-1997.BCK
16-APR-1997.BCK

If I do the directory AFTER the backup, I'll see

15-APR-1997.BCK
17-APR-1997.BCK

where did the file 16-APR-1997.BCK go?

   Please check to make sure the magtape firmware is up to date and
   that you have the latest MKDRIVER ECO -- if so, this problem will
   need to be reported via DIGITAL's customer support center. (And
   information on the particular magtape device will be required.)
