Questions:

I have a Motif program that displays a menu in a
semi-dedicated DECWindows account. i.e. it has one main
purpose, but runs the session manager so that other
activities can be done from the session manager bar.
I have been asked to end the session from the Motif menu
program. I have tried spawning, LIB$DO_COMMAND and now
a detached process. The previous attempts would work sometimes
and not others. (The login box would not reappear).
Now the detached process logs out all the time, but it
prompts for confirmation. I've done a lot of VMS programming,
but I have evidently never had to pass command line switches
to a detached process. Am I even on the right track? Is this
documented anywhere? Of course the old system I'm working on
is VMS V5.4-3 with Motif V1.1.
