Questions:

I have a questions about AUTOGEN, how do I use it to
collect feedback information so I can use that to tune
my system?  (We're using VAX/VMS v5.5-2HW on a VAX
6000-340 with 128 MEG RAM and 4 processors.)

I've looked through the help that it has and the manual
it refers to for more information just happens to be the
one that I don't have.

I have the following in my SYSTARTUP_v5.COM file..

       $ @SYS$UPDATE:AUTOGEN SAVPARAMS SAVPARAMS FEEDBACK

I'm not sure if this is working correctly as the last time
I tried to use the feedback data it told me that it had been
running for less than a day when the system had been running
for 45 days.

So my question is, what do I have to put in the startup
file and what do I have to use when I want to use the
feedback data to tune the system?

   You will want to collect and save feedback information at SHUTDOWN.
   (The AUTOGEN command uses the SHUTDOWN-saved feedback data; if there
   is no current saved feedback, you will see warning messages...)
