OpenVMS does not support non-Julian calendars -- the Hebrew, Mayan, Chinese, etc., calendars are not supported. Support of different base dates could require assuming 17-Nov-1858 is actually some other base date and setting the current time to a current value appropriate for the "delta" from year-zero of the desired calendar system, but the formatting of the information would still follow Julian norms. Language-specific Julian-based date text is supported, as are the various UTC formats. |
