Questions:
I have just completed an update from 6.1 to 6.2 on an
Alpha 3000/800, using the preserve option of the update.
Now when I end a session the system reboots and if the
login from the login Window is incorrect the system
reboots.
Everything else, all our programs, seems to run fine.

This appears a known bug, likely in the SYS$GPADRIVER.EXE device driver.
There is (should be) a patch available for this problem available at
DIGITAL's web site, or via an Open3D update kit, or via DIGITAL customer
support center.
The PXG is not supported in OpenVMS Alpha V7.0 and later.
